If you’ve made your way down J St. or Central towards the Bentonville Square, you’ve likely passed Brick Avenue Lofts. As Northwest Arkansas’s newest neighborhood, we’re bringing people together, encouraging sustainable living and contributing to Bentonville’s art and discovery scene–all within walking distance of Bentonville’s top destinations.

In this series “People Behind The Place” we’re going to introduce you to the many faces behind Specialized Real Estate Group’s newest project, Brick Avenue Lofts. Specialized is committed to building healthy places and connecting neighbors through exceptional real estate development and property management in Northwest Arkansas. Follow along to meet NWA’s new neighborhood and the people that are bringing it to life.

Meet Jeremy Hudson, CEO of Specialized Real Estate Group and Brick Avenue Lofts developer.

Jeremy is responsible for the making sure the project is on the planned path, working “with designers, the construction team, project management, and the city to ensure everyone is communicating and problems are being solved.” His ultimate goal: the project succeeds in fostering a place where neighbors are more than just “that guy next door with the weird cat”.

Brick Avenue will be Specialized Real Estate Groups first Bentonville project after years of creating sustainable communities and developing green properties in Fayetteville and Springdale. Jeremy is excited to grow into a new part of NWA, “bringing our style of healthy, sustainable living close to walkable downtown Bentonville, the Market District, and the new Walmart home office is very exciting.

The Brick Avenue site was selected because it was in close proximity to the Market District and the rest of downtown Bentonville, however, our team had no idea that the new Walmart home office was going to be built right across the street. When that announcement came out, Jeremy shared that it “felt like icing on the cake!

A project of this scale takes a lot of hard work and involves a number of different stakeholders, but Jeremy shared that it’s all worth it in the end. “It’s always fun to create something out of nothing, but the best part is watching the residents bring life into a project and turn it into their home.
